Kehillot Cohort
Application for Kehillot: M² Community Fellowships in Boston, Toronto, and the Greater D.C. area

Thank you for applying to Kehillot: M² Community Fellowships, a professional development initiative supporting promising educators who create meaningful Jewish experiences across their local communities. This application is an opportunity for the M² team to learn about you, your aspirations as a Jewish educator, and the experiences that have shaped your journey.

This 18-month experience consists of 3 immersive seminars; cohort-based Community of Practice (CoP) meetings; as well as regular 1:1 support from M² faculty, staff, and your local Community Convener.

The philosophy guiding this initiative is rooted in the belief that a diverse cohort of community-based educators stand to benefit from both theory and practice in experiential education. Fellows will engage with foundational pedagogies, apply their learning over time within a supportive framework, and gain insights through faculty-led instruction and peer collaboration. Our goal is for each fellow to leave with deeper knowledge, a refined educational language, and practical skills to enhance their work, ultimately strengthening their local Jewish community, their institutions, and elevating their educational impact.

We look forward to reviewing your application. If you have any questions or would like to speak about the process, please contact Saadiah McIntosh, M²'s Program Operations Director at saadiah@ieje.org.
